Plasteel Corporation’s story began in Michigan in 1941, when we specialized in applying protective plastic coatings to steel products. When expanded polystyrene emerged in the 1950s, we became one of the early American companies to import and mold EPS, opening a new chapter in our manufacturing history.

From the Bloop Ball and the familiar foam car antenna ball to professional dental products and molded EPS shapes for the craft industry, we have spent more than eight decades turning manufacturing expertise into useful, inventive products.

Today, Plasteel Corporation remains a Michigan manufacturer serving both the dental and craft industries with the innovation, adaptability, and experience that have defined our company since 1941.
